We are seeking a Key Accounts Hire Controller to join a small dedicated team in Hertfordshire. As a leading Specialist Construction Products Recruiter, SRS Recruitment Solutions is working on behalf of a leading supplier of plant hire for the construction industry who, due to continued success, are recruiting a Key Accounts Hire Controller.

The Opportunity
This is a fast‑paced and customer‑focused position where you will support major account customers with their plant hire requirements. You will coordinate hire enquiries, manage quotations, liaise with internal departments, and ensure customers receive a seamless service from enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing incoming hire enquiries from key account customers
- Providing product guidance and recommending suitable equipment solutions
- Preparing accurate quotations and processing hire requests
- Coordinating with operational teams to ensure equipment availability and timely delivery
- Working closely with logistics, credit control, transport, and depot teams to fulfil customer requirements
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring customer requests and ensuring queries are resolved efficiently
- Supporting the achievement of departmental service and profitability objectives
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Visiting customer sites when required to strengthen relationships and gain a better understanding of project requirements
