This position sits within a specialist Safe Access and Fall Protection business delivering compliant barrier safety systems across a wide range of construction environments in both the public and private sectors. The Safety Technician plays a key role in the installation, commissioning, inspection, and recertification of safety critical systems on site. Working closely with Project Managers, Operations, and fellow Technicians, the role ensures installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and quality standards.
Technicians typically work in teams of two and are deployed nationally across a varied project portfolio. As part of the company’s growth strategy, this role supports the expansion of in house delivery capability and the reduction of reliance on subcontract labour.

Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of Safe Access and Fall Protection systems on sites across the UK
- Carrying out repairs, modifications, and upgrades to existing systems
- Recertification and inspection of installed systems, identifying non compliant elements
- Producing inspection documentation, tick sheets, and system plans
- Liaising with Project Managers and Operations teams to coordinate site activity
- Engaging professionally with clients and on site personnel
- Training and coaching clients on installed systems where required
- PPE inspections as part of site activity
- Maintaining a professional and safety conscious approach at all times
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in installation, engineering, or site based construction roles
- Comfortable working on live construction sites and at height
- Strong communication skills and a professional site presence
- Good basic IT skills and ability to complete digital documentation
- Numeracy and literacy essential
- Fall protection or safe access experience desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving license
Full product training will be provided.
