Looking for a bigger stage to perform on? If you are a commercially driven service sales professional with a strong technical grounding in HVAC, thermal or applied systems, heat exchangers, mechanical plant or other closely aligned M&E service environments and you thrive on developing long term customer relationships rather than chasing one off orders, this could represent a strong next step.
You are not stepping into a reactive service role. You are stepping into an installed base focused sales and advisory position, working directly with end user clients within a global engineering business trusted across critical industrial sectors.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out: This is not transactional aftermarket sales. The organisation is a globally recognised engineering manufacturer with decades of heritage, supplying specialist heat exchange and thermal solutions into mission critical and industrial environments. The service business plays a central role in protecting asset performance, extending lifecycle value and positioning the business as a long-term partner, not just an OEM. This role sits at the heart of that strategy.

- Energy & Data Centres

This business does not simply supply equipment. They engineer tailored solutions, deliver deep technical expertise, and build long term, value-led partnerships with their customers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive profitable growth across the organisation’s service, spare parts, repairs, retrofits and turnkey replacement portfolio
- Develop and manage a defined installed base, building structured engagement plans and long-term service relationships
- Identify, shape and close service led opportunities from early technical discussion through to order intake
- Act as the commercial interface between customers, service operations, inside sales and technical teams
- Translate engineering challenges into value based commercial proposals
- Build and manage a structured, service led sales pipeline with clear forecasting and CRM discipline
- Position the organisation as the preferred service partner across the full asset lifecycle
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience selling service, spares, maintenance or retrofit solutions within HVAC, industrial or mechanical environments
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC or M&E or BMS type solutions, heat exchangers, thermal systems or related engineered equipment is highly advantageous.
- Clear understanding of service sales route to market and aftermarket value creation
- Comfortable engaging with FM companies, managing agents, property management companies, building and equipment owners, and a wide range of operational and technical decision makers
- Consultative, customer focused and commercially astute with a talent for problem solving
- Structured, self-motivated and confident operating independently in a field-based role
- Strong CRM discipline and pipeline management capability
How Success Will Be Measured:
- Growth of service, spares and retrofit revenue across the installed base
- Conversion rate from opportunity to order
- Quality and sustainability of the service sales pipeline
- Accuracy of CRM reporting and forecasting
- Strength of internal collaboration and customer relationships
What’s In It for You?
- Basic Salary: £55,000 – £65,000+ (higher for standout experience)
- Bonus: Generous performance scheme with over-target accelerators (up to 40%)
- Car: Flexible car & car allowance options
- Benefits: Full package including pension, phone, laptop, 27 days holiday
- Clear career progression in a globally scaling, engineering-led business
