Due to expansion, our client is seeking two Senior Sales Executives. Ideally, you would be experienced in selling Timber / Timber Products or have worked in the Builders / Timber Merchant sector. It would also be an advantage to have a good understanding of the construction sector. This position is for an experienced individual that has the ability to establish and build relationships at both site and buyer level.
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be joining a company that is one of the largest leading Independent Timber Merchants in England and is an established supply chain partner in the UK construction industry. In your role, you will work along with the sales team promoting the company’s Timber & Timber Products to exciting sectors including Timber Construction & Fit out Companies, Developers, End Users, and Joinery Companies.
Key Responsibilities:- To develop both new and existing clients
- Negotiate purchasing prices with suppliers
- Quoting and costing customer requirements
- Understanding customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players
- Maintain and expand your database
- Seeking out active sites and making the necessary contacts and winning enquiries and ultimately the business
