SRS Recruitment are one of the UK's leading Construction Product Recruiters, representing a leading Bespoke Joinery Manufacturer that is expanding its operations. As part of this growth, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced CNC PROGRAMMER to join their production team.

Reporting to: PRODUCTION MANAGER

As CNC PROGRAMMER you will be responsible for the safe, accurate operation of the CNC Machinery to manufacture high-quality joinery components in accordance with approved production drawings, CNC programmes, technical specifications and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.
  • Manufacture components accurately from approved CNC programmes, production drawings and job documentation.
  • Ensure production follows the agreed manufacturing process.
  • Carry out routine machine inspections, cleaning and maintenance.
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
  • Monitor progress through the day.
  • Resolve production issues quickly and effectively.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience within bespoke joinery, cabinet making or furniture manufacturing.
  • Read blueprints & manufacturing drawings.
  • Good understanding of woodworking machinery and production processes.
  • Replace cutters and tooling as required, ensuring correct tool management procedures are followed.
  • Confident and professional with good organisation skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Measure finished components to verify compliance with drawings & tolerance.

Location/Area: LONDON
