Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke high-end joinery products, renowned for their high-end products and commercial success within the industry. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team.
As Sales Executive, you will be the first point of call for key customers and be expected to deliver outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for both developing existing accounts and securing new business opportunities.
Working within a team that continually promotes the company’s high-end joinery products and components into the Merchant/DIY Retail Sector, you will be responsible for the Key Account Management of National Builders Merchants.
Key Responsibilities:- To develop both new and existing client accounts
- Build sales, pursue leads, and follow on enquiries
- Understand customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players
- Manage and grow Merchant Trading Agreements
- Travel to clients, both existing and new, to maintain, strengthen, and develop relationships
- Generate new business and be involved in the company’s growth and expansion
- Proven sales experience in the Merchant Sector
- Strong negotiating skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- Knowledge and strong experience dealing with buying groups
- Customer focused with sound commercial skills
- Good IT skills and PC literate
- Strong listening and presentation skills
Location/Area: West Midlands
