The Opportunity
This is a fast-paced and customer-focused position where you will play a key role in supporting major account customers with their plant hire requirements. Acting as a central point of contact, you will coordinate hire enquiries, manage quotations, liaise with internal departments, and ensure customers receive a seamless service from enquiry through to delivery. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a busy environment, building strong customer relationships and ensuring that service levels consistently exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing incoming hire enquiries from key account customers
- Providing product guidance and recommending suitable equipment solutions
- Preparing accurate quotations and processing hire requests
- Coordinating with operational teams to ensure equipment availability and timely delivery
- Working closely with logistics, credit control, transport, and depot teams to fulfil customer requirements
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring customer requests and ensuring queries are resolved efficiently
- Supporting the achievement of departmental service and profitability objectives
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Visiting customer sites when required to strengthen relationships and gain a better understanding of project requirements
