SRS Recruitment are one of the UK leading Construction Products Recruiters and due to retirement of long serving employee our client is seeking a CREDIT CONTROLLER to be based in their offices in Suffolk and we are delighted to be assisting them in their search. Ideally you would be an experienced CREDIT CONTROLLER who enjoys building strong customer relationships , solving account queries, and keeping cash flow running smoothly .
Reporting to: MANAGING DIRECTOR
The company has been a trusted supplier of high-quality imported timber products to the UK Merchant sector for over 50 years and are renowned for supplying timber and timber products of the highest quality while continually meeting industry standards and needs of their customers .
Key Responsibilities as CREDIT CONTROLLER
- Managing customer accounts in a professional manner
- Chasing outstanding invoices via phone / email in a professional and proactive manner.
- Monitoring aged debt and reducing overdue balances.
- Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
- Building positive working relationships with customers and your internal teams .
- Maintaining accurate financial records and account information
Skills and Experience Required as CREDIT CONTROLLER
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Previous experience in Credit Control or Accounts receivable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Confident and professional telephone mannerExcellent communication skills are essential for client interaction.
- Customer focused with sound commercial skills.
- Excellent IT skills and experience in financial systems.
