Our client is a leading Joinery Manufacturer & Distributor and due to expansion they are seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team. Ideally, you would be experienced in joinery products and have strong sales skills. Having worked in the Builders / Timber Merchant sector would also be an advantage, to have a good understanding of the construction sector.
As AREA SALES MANAGER you will be working closely with the sales team and clients ensuring all proposals meet client specifications within their budget while maximizing sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Selling a comprehensive range of high-quality joinery products
- Quoting and costing customer requirements
- Understanding customer needs and requirements
- Organizing your own diary, visit clients to maximize productivity and territory coverage
- Grow & develop your relations with Merchants & Retailers and expand your accounts
- Proven experience in sales ideally in the Joinery Sector
- General construction knowledge essential & knowledge of Joinery / Fire Doors / Door Sets
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Effective communication skills
- Customer focused with sound commercial skills
- Good IT skills & PC literate and experience
