They are now looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to join their successful London team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and developing sales opportunities with main contractors, specialist subcontractors, and builders’ merchants throughout North London, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire. The role will focus on both new-build and refurbishment projects across a broad range of construction sectors. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, the position will involve building and maintaining a strong customer base while driving profitable sales growth and securing project opportunities for the company’s East London, West London, and Maidstone branches. The role requires a commercially minded and proactive individual who is confident engaging with key decision-makers, developing long-term relationships, and converting opportunities into measurable business growth.

The Candidate

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to enjoy working within a fast-paced sales environment where professionalism and a high level of customer service are key to success. As you will be taking an active role as a member of the sales team, you will need to have a flair for sales and enjoy working to targets and meeting sales goals. Experience in the construction industry either in merchanting or distribution is advantageous along with the ability to work autonomously as well as working as part of a team.
