The Opportunity: Our client is a highly respected and established market leader in premium façade systems, renowned across the UK and Europe for innovation, quality, and technical excellence. They are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Facade Specification Manager to take ownership of the North of England territory. This is a specification-led role where you will drive demand for high-performance façade solutions by building strong relationships with architects, façade consultants, and key influencers. You will generate and protect specifications, manage projects from concept through to completion, and work closely with contractors and distribution partners to convert them into orders. This is an excellent opportunity to join a recognised leader and play a key role in growing market share in the North.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new façade specifications through architects, façade consultants, and key influencers
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with architectural practices and decision-makers
  • Identify, track, and manage projects end-to-end across the North of England
  • Protect specifications by engaging Main Contractors, Specialist Façade Contractors, and Distributors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with distributors and fabricators to maximise conversion rates
  • Deliver compelling CPDs, technical presentations, and product training
  • Build a strong project pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records
  • Work closely with internal technical and commercial teams to close opportunities

Candidate Profile:

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the façade, rainscreen cladding, or external building envelope sector
  • Proven track record in specification sales
  • Strong understanding of the full façade project lifecycle (from specification to completion)
  • Experience managing projects and pipelines through CRM
  • Full UK driving licence

Ideal Background: Candidates from fibre cement façade, rainscreen cladding, external envelope, or façade system manufacturers are particularly welcome. Experience with direct competitors is actively encouraged.
