Your Challenges

In this role, you will join the Field Sales team in Great Britain & Ireland, which is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience. The team operates with a growth mindset, an open-door culture, and a shared sense of purpose.

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing influencers and key decision-makers across your region—guiding projects from concept to installation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Maximise sales through effective customer and area management
  • Secure and win business by developing specified projects or converting existing opportunities
  • Drive demand and develop a healthy sales pipeline
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of area contacts and projects
  • Apply strong closing techniques, especially on projects involving main contractors and installers
  • Promote product awareness throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Foster and maintain key relationships with contractors and installers
  • Develop partnerships with trade, industry, and regulatory bodies
  • Influence key stakeholders to include our client’s solutions in their designs
  • Conduct site visits and surveys, including work at height
  • Ensure continued market relevancy of our client’s product portfolio
  • Position our client’s solutions as a preferred choice in both market share and opinion
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve strategic objectives and performance targets
  • Monitor market trends and manage new sales leads from design through to delivery and installation
  • Perform other related duties as required

Person Specification

Essential

  • Strong technical and commercial background
  • Experience in territory sales
  • Excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels
  • Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Collaborative team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry tools like Barbour ABI or similar
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid passport
