About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable Class 2 Driver to join a growing team in the Preston area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a well-established flooring distribution company supplying products such as carpets, vinyl, laminate, and other flooring materials.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £15.00 (£16.81 including holiday pay)
- Permanent position after 12 weeks
- Monday to Friday working pattern, weekends off

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering flooring products including carpets, vinyl rolls, laminate packs, and associated materials
- Completing 10-25 deliveries per day
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries (non-palletised goods)
- Loading and unloading goods; this is a physical, hands-on role
- Ensuring timely and safe deliveries
- Completing vehicle checks and paperwork
Requirements:
- Must be aged 25 or over (insurance purposes)
- Newly pass drivers accepted
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points
- No DR, DD, DG, or IN endorsements
- Flexible to start between 04:00 and 07:00
- Willing to complete 2-3 nights out per week, but not necessary
- Strong work ethic and reliability
