We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to join our client, based in Carrington, as a Class 1 Night Driver. This role is ideal for drivers seeking consistency, excellent pay, and modern equipment.

With immediate starts available, this is your chance to step into a well-paid and highly valued position. You will be operating curtain-sided trailers, responsible for drawing the curtains and securing loads when required. The work is clean, straightforward, and well-supported.

All drivers are required to complete an induction prior to starting, with the following being covered:

  • Drug and Alcohol test
  • Tacho card downloaded
  • Fresh licence check
  • Multi choice questionnaire, covering drivers hours
  • A 30 minute Health and Safety video

Key details:

  • Class 1 Night Driver position
  • Shifts to suit your lifestyle: Sunday to Thursday, Monday to Friday, or Tuesday to Saturday
  • Vehicles are brand new, with fridges and inverters fitted as standard
  • Communication and reliability are key to success in this role
  • Must have held your licence for at least 1 year
  • No more than 6 penalty points (exclusions apply: DR / DG / IN / CD codes not accepted)

Salary:

  • Monday to Friday - £17.00 per hour (£18.64 inc holiday pay)
  • Saturday PAYE - £17.00 per hour (£18.64 inc holiday pay)
  • Sunday PAYE - £19.00 per hour (£20.83 inc holiday pay)
  • Nights out - £25.00
