We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver (LGV C) to join our client based in Woolwich on a temp-to-perm basis.
Job Details
- Location: Woolwich
- Pay Rate: £16.40 per hour or £18.38 per hour (incl holiday pay)
- Start Date: Monday 18th May
- Initial Start Time: 9:30am
- Working Hours:
- Monday & Tuesday: 13:00 - 21:00
- Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 06:00 - 14:00
Duties Include
- Driving an 18-ton lorry from Woolwich to Haverhill daily
- Loading and unloading cages of laundry
- Managing delivery schedules safely and efficiently
- Waiting at Haverhill during laundry turnaround times
- Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (LGV C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
