We have a fantastic opportunity for a Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Trafford Park on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent chance for a Class 2 Driver looking to secure a long-term, full-time position with a reputable company.
The role involves driving rigid Class 2 vehicles, all equipped with tail lifts, so previous experience using tail lifts is essential. As a Class 2 Driver, your main duties will include delivering palletised goods to customers using both electric and manual pump trucks. This role is ideal for those who enjoy early starts, with shifts beginning between 00:00 and 01:00. During the initial training period, particularly on the Scotland route, shifts may range from 12 to 15 hours. On average, you will complete around 6 drops per shift.
The working pattern follows a two-week rota:
- Week 1: Monday to Saturday
- Week 2: 4 days (with one weekday off and Saturday off)
No Sunday working required.
Driver Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Class 2 Driver
- Hold a valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
- No more than 6 points (no DD, DG or IN endorsement codes accepted)
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Class 2 Driver to secure a permanent role with great earning potential and consistent work.
