Are you an experienced SALES PROFESSIONAL looking for a new challenge to enhance your career? We have a fantastic opportunity for a SALES DIRECTOR to join our Client’s exciting Specialised Logistics Company embarking on the next phase of their growth plans. The ideal candidate would have experience in a role at DIRECTOR level and have a background in Technical / Logistics Sales.

THE COMPANY:

They are renowned as being one of the UK’s leading technology relocation and logistics specialists, delivering bespoke physical solutions to organisations needing expert and professional assistance.

THE ROLE:

As SALES DIRECTOR, you will be responsible for growing and developing the business by strengthening relationships with existing clients and also have the skills to bring in new business. You will create bespoke “end to end” relocation and logistics solutions tailored to the needs of the client. You will lead and motivate your Sales Team to accelerate the revenue growth for the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES: SALES DIRECTOR

  1. Own and take responsibility for achieving and exceeding revenue targets for the business.
  2. Set Sales Targets & analyse sales data.
  3. Develop new national sales with corporate companies on a national level and sell within defined business sectors across multiple locations.
  4. Manage the activity of the Sales Team & devise and implement systems to keep staff motivated.
  5. Communicate internally and externally, providing frequent updates across multiple programs.
  6. Be the voice of the customer, guiding development and interactions.
  7. Maintain sales records and design reports to ensure data collected is utilised effectively.
  8. Develop business strategies in relation to customers’ future requirements.

SKILLS REQUIRED: SALES DIRECTOR

  1. Proven experience in a Senior Business Development role ideally within the Logistics or related sector.
  2. Results-oriented and able to adapt to changing circumstances / industry trends.
  3. Excellent writing skills, able to provide quotes and respond to tender documents.
  4. Effective communicator, negotiator & have the ability to close deals.
  5. Driven, passionate, motivated and target-driven.
  6. Strong Leadership & Management skills.
