Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are pleased to be working with a leading brand in Hemel who are looking to add a Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant to their finance and accounting division in the Hertfordshire based HQ.
Responsibilities
- Management of portfolio of supplier accounts
- Reconciling supplier accounts to supplier statements
- Enter, verify and pay supplier invoices
- Negotiation of credits where necessary, challenging incorrect invoices and raising queries
- Resolving accounts on stop
- Working to resolve supplier queries, department managers and other internal stakeholders
- Prepare BACS payment runs for weekly/monthly payments
- Assist in month and year end process
- Cover for the Purchase Ledger Manager when required
Skills & Experience
- Strong working knowledge of full MS Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Attention to detail
- NetSuite experience is desirable but not essential
- 3 years\β purchase ledger experience
