SRM Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a high growth organisation based on the outskirts of Redhill, Surrey to assist in recruiting for a Financial Controller to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting into the CFO, this is a key leadership role responsible for strengthening financial control, improving reporting accuracy, and building scalable finance processes to support continued growth.

This transformational Financial Controller opportunity would suit a hands-on, commercially aware professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Own the month-end close process and deliver accurate, timely management accounts
  • Lead statutory accounts preparation and manage the external audit process
  • Ensure VAT and tax compliance in partnership with external advisor
  • Oversee billing, accounts payable, credit control, and payroll support functions
  • Identify and resolve operational finance process issues
  • Support cash management and short-term cash flow forecasting
  • Drive improvements in finance systems, reporting, and processes
  • Build scalable processes to support business growth
  • Lead, mentor, and develop members of the finance team whilst fostering a collaborative, high performing team and culture

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA/C.A Qualified candidates with strong PQE
  • Strong Financial Control and Reporting experience

Package on offer is between £85,000 - £100,000 with a host of benefits including pension, private medical, life assurance and more, with an expectation to be office based 2/3 days a week.
