I'm supporting a well‑established, nationally recognised organisation in Norwich who are looking to appoint a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their successful and growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part‑qualified accountant looking to progress their career, gain exposure to senior stakeholders and contribute to meaningful commercial decisions. You’ll play a key part in supporting the regional management team through accurate reporting, financial insight, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheet and forecasts
- Analysing variances against budget, forecast and prior periods
- Providing support and development to Finance Assistants
- Delivering cost analysis and commercial insight to management
- Assisting the Finance Manager with annual budgeting
- Reviewing and enhancing reports and internal processes
- Ad‑hoc accounting duties as needed
You will be:
- Part‑qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and actively studying
- Ability to analyse and interpret data
- Construction‑sector experience beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
- Highly organised with strong Excel and systems proficiency
