The Role:
- Run weekly and monthly payroll, including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Manage CIS returns and CIS suffered.
- Handle pension administration (auto-enrolment uploads, redeclarations).
- Process statutory payments and benefits in kind.
- Communicate with HMRC to resolve queries.
- Maintain strong client relationships and handle daily queries.
- Manage billing and debt chasing.
About You:
- 4 years’ payroll experience within an accountancy practice.
- Knowledge of BrightPay software preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, statutory payments, tax rules, NI, and pensions.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to resolve inconsistencies.
- Professional communicator with strong client service skills.
