SRM Recruitment have been retained by Associated British Foods (ABF) to recruit an exceptional Head of People Platforms/HRIS to establish, lead and continually evolve a high-performing HR Application Managed Service. This is a rare opportunity to set the strategic direction for SuccessFactors across a prestigious global enterprise spanning 56 countries and 138,000 employees.

You will design and build a sustainable operating model from the ground up, balancing internal capability with strategic external partnerships to deliver both immediate service excellence and long-term growth. This role offers genuine scope to make a lasting impact at scale.

As Head of People Platforms/HRIS you will:

  • Establish and lead a high-performing SuccessFactors service across ABF business units
  • Set strategic direction ensuring stability, resilience and operational excellence
  • Design and embed a scalable operating model with the right blend of internal and external capability
  • Own end-to-end service performance including SLAs, KPIs, governance and continuous improvement
  • Act as senior interface between business stakeholders, People & Performance teams, Technology teams and third-party providers
  • Shape and deliver the SuccessFactors road map aligned with business priorities
  • Oversee vendor performance, commercial arrangements and value realisation
  • Drive innovation, standardisation and automation while maintaining strong risk and compliance controls

Ideal Experience includes:

  • Proven track record running or building a SuccessFactors, HRIS or HR Technology function within a multi-business, multi-region environment.
  • An influential, strategic leader who is customer-focused, outcome-driven and comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level
  • Strong understanding of SuccessFactors modules, HR processes and enterprise HR technology ecosystems
  • Experience designing operating models and managing blended internal and external delivery teams
  • Solid knowledge of ITIL-based service management and governance practices
