We are currently representing a high growth Venture Capital backed Tech Consultancy that is looking to hire a Finance Manager into an all rounded role, covering month end, analysis and finance operations. The Finance Manager will play a key role in the delivery of the monthly financial processes, with oversight from our Financial Controller. The role will largely revolve around delivering month-end processes alongside providing day-to-day supervisory support to our Finance Assistant and providing necessary cover during periods of absence. The culture is dynamic, fast paced and entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing monthly management accounts journals
  • Preparing monthly management accounts reconciliations schedules
  • Budget and variance analysis to improve business performance
  • Supporting with UK and US payroll
  • Supervisory support to Finance Assistant with e.g. bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, processing expenses, purchase ledger, sales ledger etc.
  • Collaborating with team to build and manage financial data rooms related to fundraising
  • Updating finance system notes and suggesting best practice to improve systems
  • Considering automations to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Providing cover across all financial activities (e.g. finance assistant and financial controller responsibilities) as required

Qualifications:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience supporting junior team members, monthly financial processes and producing management accounts in a multinational business
  • Experience with Xero is beneficial and familiarity with payroll and expense modules within this system
  • Excellent communications, priority management and attention to detail. Working with offshore teams an advantage
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
