We are working with a leading business in Ipswich who are looking for an Accounts Assistant on an initial 6 month contract to join their busy accounts team to support mainly across purchase ledger.
Duties
- Coding and processing invoices
- Preparation of mid-month and end of month payment runs
- Maintaining ledger accounts
- Opening new supplier accounts
- Liaising with suppliers and resolving issues quickly and efficiently
- Working closely with the commercial team
- Ad-hoc accounting duties as and when required
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong skills on Excel
- Must be organised and able to prioritise workload
