Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator with experience supporting the recruitment and onboarding process? We’re recruiting for a Temporary Onboarding Administrator to join a well-established organisation on a remote basis.
About the Role:
As the Onboarding Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring all new starters experience a smooth and efficient onboarding process. Supporting the internal recruitment function, you’ll be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload of new hires, from offer stage through to their first day.
- Temporary Contract (Up to 6 months)
- Salary equivalent: £30,000
- Remote role – travel to Hertfordshire head office required once a month
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and process all relevant new starter documentation
- Carry out reference checks and follow up where required
- Initiate and manage DBS checks
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Send out training links and ensure completion ahead of start dates
- Book staff uniforms and manage logistics
- Ensure all onboarding tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in an administrative role within recruitment or HR
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Experience with DBS checks, reference requests, and ATS systems is highly desirable
