We are working with a private capital investment house, that sits within a wider commercial group to recruit an Audit Manager from a Big 4, or larger firm for a Group Reporting Manager role. Unfortunately our client are not able to offer sponsorship for the role at this time. c£75,000 + bonus + benefits. Our client adopts a 4 days office / 1 day from home working policy.
The Opportunity
The business is ideally looking for someone who is qualified (ACA or ACCA) trained in practice currently working as Audit Manager, ideally with a focus/level of experience of working with private capital/investment management sector clients, or a candidate that has audited in a wider financial services client space.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ownership of end-to-end investments reporting for the Groups investments and holding entities.
- Reporting across a portfolio of listed, private, PE and venture capital investments.
- Owning the monthly, quarterly and annual investment reporting cycle end-to-end.
- Produce clear, insightful investment reporting explaining performance, valuation movements, FX impacts, key drivers, KPIs and risks.
- Ensure comparability and consistency of reporting across listed, private, PE and VC investments.
- Provide high-quality reporting packs and commentary for senior management, investment committees and boards.
- Group consolidations for investment entities.
- Support the delivery of the statutory audits for the investment-holding entities.
- Investment related cash-flow and forecast.
About you:
- ACA or ACCA Qualified Audit Manager, looking for first move into industry.
- Strong technical background - IFRS / UK GAAP.
- Strong understanding of investment structures and asset classes (listed and private companies, PE, VC, funds).
- Our client may consider a candidate in an adjacent industry if there is a demonstrable level of interest in picking up more technical work within a private capital business/environment.
