What You'll Be Doing

  • Proactively contacting customers in arrears to recover overdue balances — securing full payment, agreed payment dates, or clear reasons for non-payment
  • Monitoring payment promises and following up swiftly to ensure commitments are kept
  • Recording dispute details accurately and escalating unresolved queries through the appropriate channels
  • Preparing and issuing 7-day letters in a timely manner, and escalating non-responsive accounts where needed
  • Resolving unallocated payments by liaising with customers and ensuring clear records are maintained for internal use
  • Removing barriers to payment by responding quickly to requests for invoices, documentation, or additional information
  • Proactively reaching out ahead of payment due dates to confirm customers have everything they need
  • Contributing to team performance by flagging issues to your supervisor and sharing ideas to improve processes
