What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively contacting customers in arrears to recover overdue balances — securing full payment, agreed payment dates, or clear reasons for non-payment
- Monitoring payment promises and following up swiftly to ensure commitments are kept
- Recording dispute details accurately and escalating unresolved queries through the appropriate channels
- Preparing and issuing 7-day letters in a timely manner, and escalating non-responsive accounts where needed
- Resolving unallocated payments by liaising with customers and ensuring clear records are maintained for internal use
- Removing barriers to payment by responding quickly to requests for invoices, documentation, or additional information
- Proactively reaching out ahead of payment due dates to confirm customers have everything they need
- Contributing to team performance by flagging issues to your supervisor and sharing ideas to improve processes
