The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong, analytically minded FP&A Manager to join the Group Finance function. Reporting to the Head of Group Finance, the role sits within the corporate accounting team but has a clear mandate to enhance financial planning, reporting and analysis through improved systems, automation and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the group budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring robust, scalable models and efficient processes across Business Central and DataRails.
• Produce monthly management reporting packs, including KPIs, variance analysis and commentary, with a focus on improving reporting efficiency and output quality.
• Drive system integration, reporting automation and process improvement across Group Finance, acting as a key point of contact for enhancements within Business Central and DataRails.
• Develop and refine financial models to support group forecasting, scenario planning and strategic analysis.
• Provide analytical support for ad-hoc initiatives, including process redesign, system upgrades, M&A integration and other projects driven by the Group Finance team.
• Prepare high-quality materials for senior management and internal committees, ensuring clarity, accuracy and an investor-grade standard.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with around 5 years’ PQE, trained in practice or industry.
• Strong FP&A, financial modelling and analytical experience, ideally within PE, asset management or a multi-entity, data-rich environment.
• Hands‑on experience with financial systems; proficiency with Business Central and/or DataRails is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes, streamline reporting and implement automation within a finance function.
