SRM are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract, reporting to the Financial Controller. You will be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified professional. Experienced in financial reporting, ideally within financial services or regulated environments. Proficient in UK GAAP and/or IFRS with strong technical accounting know-
What you’ll do:
- Prepare statutory accounts and regulatory returns that adhere to top-tier standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes for accurate and timely reporting.
- Oversee year-end audit process and collaborate with external auditors.
- Provide expert technical accounting advice and drive improvements in financial controls.
- Mentor and develop junior Finance team members.
- Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects and analysis.
What we’re looking for:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified (recently qualified or post-qualification experience).
- Experienced in financial reporting, ideally within financial services or regulated environments.
- Proficient in UK GAAP and/or IFRS with strong technical accounting know-how.
- A proactive individual with exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Confident in forging relationships across all levels of a business and keen to make positive changes.
