Operations Administrator
Location:Bedford

We’re working with a successful, international manufacturing business to recruit anOperations Administratorto support their multi-site operation in Bedfordshire.
This is a varied, hands-on role offering exposure to engineering processes, health & safety, contractor management, and stock control — perfect for someone looking to build their career within a dynamic and growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring tasks are logged and completed on time
- Manage stock control for parts, consumables, and site supplies, including ordering, receipt, and storage across sites
- Assist with contractor coordination — booking visits, checking documentation, and supporting site inductions
- Support health & safety compliance by keeping risk assessments, COSHH records, and related documentation up to date
- Provide audit-ready administration, ensuring records, training logs, and compliance documents are accurate and accessible
- Deliver day-to-day administrative support, including visitor coordination, meeting organisation, and general office tasks
- Contribute to sustainability and continuous improvement projects across the sites
About You:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced administrative role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with confidence using electronic systems
- Strong communicator, able to work well with colleagues and external contacts
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (multi-site travel required)
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and proactive in your approach
