I'm currently working with a well-established and growing business to recruit a Financial Accountant for a 15-month maternity cover contract.
Hybrid: 3 days in the office / 2 days from home
Salary: up to £55kpa
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong ACA or ACCA qualified accountant looking to join a collaborative finance team in a broad and varied role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of statutory financial statements (FRS 102 & IFRS)
- Consolidated monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Managing and coordinating the external audit process
- Technical accounting and financial reporting
- Corporation tax support and quarterly tax estimates
- Process improvement, financial controls and SOX compliance
- Business partnering and providing financial insight to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience preparing or auditing statutory accounts under FRS 102 & IFRS
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
