SRM Recruitment are currently partnering exclusively with a high-growth SME based on the outskirts of Redhill, Surrey, to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a key hire for the business as they continue to strengthen financial visibility across the organisation and further develop a commercially focused Finance function that acts as a true business partner to stakeholders.

In this broad and varied role, the Senior Management Accountant will support the Financial Controller in delivering timely financial reporting, while providing analysis and insight to support strategic decision-making across the leadership team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
  • Supporting the month-end close process, ensuring accurate revenue recognition.
  • Developing meaningful financial reporting and KPIs to support business growth.
  • Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to understand key drivers and support commercial decision-making.
  • Supporting finance transformation initiatives, including improvements to automation and ERP systems.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement to help scale the Finance function for future growth.
