SRM Recruitment are working with a well-established company within the construction sector looking for a Project Coordinator to join its growing project support team. The business delivers a variety of technical, design-led refurbishment and installation projects for well-known national clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, we’re now seeking someone who can support both estimating activities and project coordination, ensuring projects run smoothly from the early commercial stages right through to completion. This role combines quotation production, tender support, supplier liaison and project scheduling, giving you the opportunity to see projects evolve from concept to delivery and play a key part in their success.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimating & Commercial Support
- Prepare accurate quotations based on drawings, material schedules and tender information
- Assist with tender submissions and new enquiries
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and confirm lead times
- Support commercial variations and updates as projects progress
- Raise and manage purchase orders in line with project requirements
- Track and report on material availability, delivery dates and long-lead items
- Coordinate suppliers, internal teams and client contacts to maintain project timelines
- Support with documentation, scheduling and general admin across multiple projects
- Monitor project milestones and ensure all parties are aligned
About You

- Experience in estimating or project coordination within construction, fit-out, engineering or a related sector (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage competing priorities

- Good IT skills and willingness to learn new systems (CRM/ERP experience beneficial)
- A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to managing multiple tasks
- Technical understanding of materials, products or construction processes (preferred)
