SRM Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected research-led organisation to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on either an interim-to-permanent or permanent basis. This is a highly visible finance business partnering role supporting senior stakeholders, project leaders and operational teams across a complex grant and research-funded environment. We are particularly keen to hear from qualified accountants who have experience within Higher Education, Research Institutes, Public Sector, NHS, Academy Trusts or larger/national grant-funded charities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
- Finance business partnering with senior operational stakeholders and project leaders
- Supporting research projects, funding streams and grant-funded activities
- Financial analysis, variance reporting and decision support
- Monitoring project budgets, sponsor funding and income recovery
- Supporting grant, sponsor and funder reporting requirements
- Financial governance, controls and compliance activities
- Process improvement and development of management information
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
