About the Role:
My client is recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team based in Stevenage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) who is looking to further develop their experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role offers flexibility with a hybrid working model and the chance to work across key financial processes, playing a vital role in supporting month-end and management reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Strong involvement in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
- Liaising with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assisting with audit preparation and compliance reporting
Key Requirements:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Proven experience in accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
- Solid understanding of AP and AR processes
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage - desirable)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
