Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next interim opportunity? We're working with a business based in Liverpool to find a capable finance professional for a 4 month engagement with an immediate start.
The Role: This is a hands‑on group management accounting position sitting within a busy finance function. You'll be responsible for producing timely and accurate financial information to support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Budget vs actual variance analysis with clear commentary
- Balance sheet reconciliations and ownership of month‑end close
- Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes
- Liaising with budget holders across the business
- Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required
What We're Looking For:
- Part‑qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) through to fully qualified
- Proven experience in a management accounting role OR in a hands‑on practice environment
- Strong Excel skills and confidence with accounting systems
