Interim Finance Process Manager(6-12 months | up to £375 per day | 3 days on-site | Start early June)Based near St AlbansWe\’re working with a hands-on Finance Director to appoint an Interim Finance Manager who can strengthen the finance function during a busy delivery period.This is a finance-first role with a strong focus on producing clear and consistent management reporting, supporting with audit queries and statutory outputs. Writing and maintaining procedure documents for internal reporting and board packs.You’ll be someone who enjoys getting into the detail, refining processes, and creating order and clarity within finance operations.Key Responsibilities:?? Management ReportingDeliver monthly management accountsRefine internal reporting and contribute to board packsDraft clear, insightful commentary and visuals?? Audit & Financial OversightSupport audit queries and documentationReview outputs like VAT, capital and statutory accounts?? Procedure Writing & DocumentationCreate user-friendly process notes and finance guidesReduce key-person risk by documenting key workflows?? Systems & Process SupportUse Excel (Power Query a plus) to improve reporting and streamline recurring reports and reconciliations?? General Finance SupportWork closely with the FD and wider teamSupport operational finance tasks and ad hoc needsWhat We\’re Looking For:??
