A market leading organisation based near Guildford are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis who will be responsible for managing transactional aspects of finance and supporting the wider finance team. Key responsibilities:
- Processing payments
- Chasing unpaid invoices and resolving customer queries in a timely and effective manner
- Creating and posting journals
- Support with month-end close
- Invoice creation and submittal for payment including intercompany invoicing
- Bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc projects and tasks when required
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- A proven track record of working in a similar role
- Understanding of debits and credits
- Excellent IT skills including Excel
