An excellent interim opportunity for a strong technical accountant has arisen with a multinational business based in Farnborough, Hampshire. Working with the Head of Finance and CFO, the Senior Financial Accountant will assist the team with the following tasks:
- Lease Accounting: the preparation and review of lease accounting calculations in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g. IFRS 16 / ASC 842, as applicable); implementation of lease account into the financial accounting system; support the maintenance and reconciliation of lease registers; prepare supporting schedules and documentation for lease-related balances; assist with month-end and period-end close activities related to leases.
- NetSuite transition: support the implementation of NetSuite and optimisation of NetSuite; assist with setting up of NetSuite reports, reconciliation and process improvements.
- General Financial Accounting: provide ad hoc financial accounting support as required; assist with process improvements and documentation where needed; ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
