What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively contacting customers in arrears to recover overdue balances — securing full payment, agreed payment dates, or clear reasons for non-payment.
- Monitoring payment promises and following up swiftly to ensure commitments are kept.
- Recording dispute details accurately and escalating unresolved queries through the appropriate channels.
- Preparing and issuing 7-day letters in a timely manner, and escalating non-responsive accounts where needed.
- Resolving unallocated payments by liaising with customers and ensuring clear records are maintained for internal use.
- Removing barriers to payment by responding quickly to requests for invoices, documentation, or additional information.
- Proactively reaching out ahead of payment deadlines to ensure smooth transactions.
