A growing organisation are looking to recruit a Part-Time Bookkeeper on a permanent basis who will be responsible for managing transactional aspects of finance and supporting the business in decision making. The business pride themselves on the fact that they have low staff turnover so this is a rare opportunity to join them.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing payments
- Chasing unpaid invoices and resolving customer queries in a timely and effective manner
- Creating and posting journals
- Invoice creation and submittal for payment
- Preparation of month-end accounts to trial balance
- Bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc projects and tasks when required
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- A proven track record of working in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills including Excel
- Professional with excellent communication skills as building and maintaining internal and external relationships is key as you will be working with non finance colleagues
- Organised and adaptable with the ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines with excellent attention to detail
Key information:
- Free on-site parking
- 24 hours per work
- 25 days holiday pro rata
- Hours are very flexible and will be agreed to ensure they work for both parties but they must be worked in the office with the team. Hybrid working is NOT an option
