- Process and assess residential and BTL mortgage applications.
- Review applicant financial information and supporting documentation.
- Make lending decisions in line with underwriting policies and criteria.
- Assess affordability, creditworthiness and lending risk.
- Ensure applications meet regulatory and internal requirements.
- Work with relevant teams to resolve application queries and progress cases.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Mortgage Underwriting is essential.
- Experience with Residential and/or Buy-to-Let mortgages.
- Strong application processing and lending decision-making experience.
- MQuBE and Salesforce experience is beneficial but not mandatory — training will be provided.
- Candidates available to start next week are preferred.
