THE ROLE
We are seeking an organised, proactive and eager individual to join our busy client payroll team. Based in our offices in Fitzrovia, you will work closely with our client managers and clients directly. This role offers an excellent opportunity to kick start your payroll career, whilst in time offering study support to complete a professional qualification (CIPP). Our Client Payroll team is not like most payroll bureaus and you will need to be able to respond to our clients efficiently, accurately and professionally. We hand hold all of our clients and pride ourselves on providing a first class service. The successful candidate will be keen to learn, have a passion for client service and be willing to muck in when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaising with client managers and clients on payroll queries, via email, phone and face to face.
- Send PAYE cheques to HMRC for and on behalf of clients
- Assist with HMRC PAYE queries
- Assist the team with delivering payrolls to a high standard.
- Ensure filing of emails and payroll instructions are up to date
- Update and maintain client workflow status through payroll software
- Take telephone messages for payroll team
- Assist the Payroll Managers with ad hoc tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Grade 7 or above in English and Maths at GCSE
- At least 1 year of office admin experience or similar experience would be beneficial
- Good knowledge of IT systems, especially Office 365
- Reception based experienced beneficial but not essential
- Studied a Business Administration or Secretarial course beneficial but not essential
