Senior Commissioning Engineer, Solihull, Competitive Salary Overview Looking for a hands-on role with a leading company in intelligent transport solutions? SRL are at the forefront of traffic management innovation, providing temporary traffic systems like portable signals, message boards, and CCTV. Our mission is to create safer, more efficient roads through sustainable solutions. About the Role We are looking to recruit an experienced Engineer who has experience working with permanent traffic signals in the UK. The role will report into a Operations manager and will share responsibilities with other colleagues, working in a small team as part of a wider, UK wide, team structure. The postholder will be working primarily with our ‘Urban64’ product, which is fundamentally similar in nature to permanent signals, but installed temporarily, throughout the UK. Key Accountabilities Travel to sites across the UK to carry out inspections, surveys, SAT’s, validations, and meetings with customers. Overnight stays likely. Technical support, including remotely diagnosing faults, inspecting radars, controllers and other equipment. Site Acceptance Testing. Updating Microsoft Teams documents. Liaising with customers. Communicating with customers.
