We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our small, friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively while also being confident managing tasks independently. You will need strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete financial statements and CT600 corporation tax returns using Excel workings, Xero, and other accounting software.
  • Handle personal tax returns accurately and in compliance with UK regulations.
  • Perform bookkeeping and data entry tasks efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients via calls and emails, ensuring complex information is easy to understand.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with set targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with 2 years in practice.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Xero and other accounting tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
