We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our small, friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively while also being confident managing tasks independently. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete financial statements and CT600 corporation tax returns using Excel workings, Xero, and other accounting software.
- Handle personal tax returns accurately and in compliance with UK regulations.
- Perform bookkeeping and data entry tasks efficiently.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients via calls and emails, ensuring complex information is easy to understand.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with set targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with 2 years in practice.
- Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Xero and other accounting tools.
