Salary: £31,741 per annum + 20% shift allowance
SRG is exclusively partnered with a rapidly growing manufacturer in the food industry who are now looking to hire a Lead Process Operator to join the production team at their site near Winchester. This exciting opportunity would be well suited to a Senior Process Operator looking to take a step up, or to move away from a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Important note: this role is a shift-based role, so candidates need their own transport and be happy to work on a permanent late shift (2pm - 10pm) Monday to Friday.

Role / Description
- Ensuring the work plan is implemented and followed on shift
- Overseeing a team of Production Technicians, ensuring safe production
- Running distillation production processes in the plant
- Operating a range of equipment including vessels up to 1300kg
- Packing off finished product into kegs, drums and IBCs
- Weighing, compounding and sampling finished products
- Being the responsible person on site for any incidents/spills/accidents.
Requirements
- Recent, proven experience in production or manufacturing in either a food, chemicals, cosmetics or pharmaceutical manufacturing plant
- Accuracy in weighing and measuring out raw materials
- Strong production plant safety awareness
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to learn
- Effective communication as part of a multi-disciplinary production team
- Able to multi-task and change priorities quickly depending on business need.
