SRG are looking for an account specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical company to expand and grow the London Territory. As part of this role, you will be the direct contact for key stakeholders to be the main executor of the infield brand strategy. Develop customer relationships whilst maximizing opportunities based on strong cross functional account plans.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performance
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual expected volume/sales growth and performance for territory in line with agreed goals and objectives.

- Develop and Implement Customer engagement skills.
- Capacity to organize and manage stakeholder meetings, training, medical education as examples.
- Identifies, develops and maintains disease state external experts and speakers/advocates.

- Develops Smart pre call objectives in line with territory strategy and brand team goals.
- Shares best practice to enhance our business success across the Brand Teams.
- Strong communication skills, ability to flex style based on individual insights.
- Gather appropriate insights, gain market understanding.

- Clinical and Market Knowledge Development; Demonstrates in depth disease, product, market and competitive intelligence expertise.
- Always adheres to industry and company compliance requirements.

- Has a deep understanding of the multi-stakeholder environment.
- Territory Management
- Regularly analyses and reports on sales performance, to facilitate ongoing data driven decision making.
- Proactively initiates, develops, and implements a growth plan to develop in current position and prepare for future opportunities.
- Develops an Integrated Account Management plan for own territory with cross functional partners in line with brand strategy.
- Identifies opportunities and uses innovative practices to overcome barriers.
- Responds to critical business opportunities and threats.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experienced secondary care account manager.
- Relevant industry sales experience in ophthalmology preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of Industry and local market conditions.
- ABPI Qualified.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of customer/disease area requirements.
- Identifies and understands policies, protocols and the political environment of institutional accounts that may affect the work of e.g. the account.
- Action planning & Budget management.
