SRG are working with an exceptional manufacturing company who supply equipment into the aerospace and defence sector. As part of a continued expansion this organisation are looking to recruit a Technical Quality Engineer to assist in their high-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role

As a Technical Quality Engineer your primary responsibility will be to ensure product compliance with a variety of industry and company standards and regulations. You will be responsible for carrying out internal audits to ensure process efficiency and product quality and you will be involved in driving continuous improvement. As this role sits within the aviation sector you will be responsible for carrying out technical quality assessments on both commercially ready products and new products currently in development in line with AS9100 standards.

The Right Candidate

  • Background in technical engineering (Process engineering/Mechanical Engineering)
  • Prior experience in a quality focussed role or experience leading/driving quality improvement/assurance projects
  • Experience in a high-reliability manufacturing environment, working in line with ISO 9001 standards (AS9100 preferable)
