SRG are currently seeking a Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a successful and growing client based in West Sussex. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maximising plant availability and reliability. You’ll ensure all planned and reactive maintenance is completed to a high standard while contributing to ongoing engineering and process optimisation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high operational availability and an efficient breakdown response service
- Diagnose equipment faults and complete effective repairs within minimal downtime
- Develop and execute a programme of preventative maintenance and inspections
- Maintain accurate records and identify recurring issues to drive long-term technical solutions
- Complete minor maintenance tasks and equipment adjustments
- Work collaboratively with external contractors on specialist maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and stay up to date with relevant legislation.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Strong electrical maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing or process environment.
