SRG are delighted to once again be working with one of the UK\’s leading aerospace and defence manufacturing companies. This organisation, research, develop and produce components that are vital across the aviation industry with some world‑leading clients. As part of continued growth they are now looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their high‑volume, high‑reliability manufacturing site in North Lanarkshire.
About The Role
As Senior Quality Engineer you will work alongside other quality engineers and the quality manager to ensure product compliance and process efficiency across manufacturing and new product introduction. A key part of this role is the technical inspection of finished products as well as performing internal and external audits to the relevant aerospace standards. You will manage non‑conformances and lead subsequent corrective actions.
What Are We Looking For?
- Degree educated in a relevant engineering discipline
- Prior experience in a technical engineering role (Mechanical or Process)
- Demonstrable experience driving quality projects and managing the non‑conformance projects
- Awareness of and experience working to ISO9001 (AS9100 preferable)
